Patent Sight Screen Page 1 of 2 Page 2 Cricket Sightscreens Patent REIDsteel SightscreensThe REIDsteel Sightscreen is laid back at the same slope (or slopes or profile) as the terrace behind. The spectators behind it and either side of it can see over it to the boundary. There is no obstruction to viewing. It can slide side to side on tracks for pitch changes.
The REIDsteel Sloping Sight Screen is exactly the same height (usually about 5m) and width (usually about 12m) in elevation as a traditional sight screen (though it is of course deeper as it is lying down over the terrace). From the batsman's perspective the REIDsteel sight screen appears the same as the traditional vertical sight screen.
