Auditorium for the President of Madagascar

REIDsteel have constructed many buildings for Marc Ravalomanana, President of Madagascar, including this auditorium. It was designed, manufactured, shipped and erected all within the four months leading up to the presidential elections, for which Mr Ravalomanana was standing for re-election. The country had no decent theatres or lecture halls, and the President needed an auditorium to give speeches, for lectures and for ceremonies.

The steel framed building can seat 2000 people, has REIDsteel sloped flooring, steel staircases, cantilevered mezzanine floors, and projection and sound rooms at the rear. It is acoustically engineering to improve sound quality within the auditorium.
